How it differs from a regular online casino
Three things change.
- →Money rails — crypto in, crypto out. Bank cards and wire transfers are usually unavailable.
- →KYC — often optional or only required above a threshold. Some don't require ID at all.
- →Provably fair — game outcomes are cryptographically verifiable, not just trusted to be random.
Why crypto rails matter
Speed and access. Bitcoin withdrawals settle in minutes; bank wires take days. Players in countries with limited fiat payment options can play. Stablecoins (USDT, USDC) let players hold dollar-pegged balances without holding actual USD.
What 'provably fair' actually means
Before the game starts, the casino commits to a hash. When the round ends, the casino reveals the seed that produced the hash. Anyone can verify the seed produced both the published hash AND the game result. If the casino had altered the result mid-round, the seed wouldn't reconcile. Real cryptographic verification, not just a claim.
